- I've lived in tis country for 20 years now. Growing up without a legal status in the United States is a unique experience. It wasn't until my formative years that I realized what that all meant and even now, it's constantly changing and being redefined. Since I never had anyone to help me figure out these things, it's in me to make sure that those after me have access to the resources and information I didn't have growing up. Life goes on no matter what happens. I realized that in order for change to take place, someone has to be a catalyst. Over the years, this blog has teen many shapes and forms, but over it's my niche in the internet to write, think and share whatever I want. While there are those in this country who think I'm a plight to them, others know different. But at the end of the day, I'm just a man thinking out loud for others to read. Erick Huerta
